Can you help us get the word out ? Each year our students do a project to where they pack over 2000 boxes of groceries to give away. This year we are even upping it by 200 boxes to over 2600 boxes of food.
Then on the Saturday before Easter we give the boxes out to those who have a need. But the recipients would need to call in to reserve a box.
Here is how you can help. We will have flyers at each of the welcome desks at the Hampton Campus and the event center at Harbour View, that look like this one to your left. If you can grab those to take those into the community that would be a huge help. Grab as many as you thing you can hand out. Some good places to hand them out would be: (Of course ask first, but most have been pretty nice about it)
- Apartment complexes
- Thrift stores
- Food bank
People do need to register by phone. Thank you so much for your help. If there are any questions please let us know by writing to KmcLemore@libertylive.com
Looking for somewhere to go this summer? Like sports? Love kids? We have a trip for you! You do not have to be great at sports to go on this trip. All you need is love for the Lord and love for kids. If you are interested stop by the mission center across from the dinning hall THIS SUNDAY, Feb. 22nd after the 9:15 or 11:00 AM services. Come meet Shane Hess our local missions associate who will be in the mission center waiting to talk to you about this exciting opportunity.
Let’s be honest: if there is one thing you can do – it’s talk on the phone. Everyone has a phone these days, and that means everyone can change a life this spring.
Liberty’s Acts of Love phone lines open this March, and there’s a phone with your name on it. Sign up for a time slot that fits your schedule anytime over the next two weeks. It’s a super easy way for you to change a family life this Easter.
Here are the links to sign up to volunteer at both campuses: Continue reading Acts of Love Phone Volunteers Needed
